Firewing – Privacy Policy

Firewing is a mobile game published by Anchor Vita, a trading name of SQL Engine Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is used when you play Firewing and your choices about it.

1. Information we collect ourselves

We do not ask for your name, email address or any account details, and we do not run our own servers for the game. Your best score, the highest level you have reached (for checkpoints), sound and music settings, and whether you have bought "Firewing Pro" are saved only on your own device. Uninstalling the game deletes them.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Firewing is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type, operating system, app usage and approximate location (from your IP address).

If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time with the "Privacy" button on the title screen. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.

You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

3. In-app purchase (Google Play)

The optional "Firewing Pro" purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google Play tells the game only whether the purchase was made, so the game can turn on Firewing Pro (no full-screen ads between games, and unlimited continues), including on a new device. Continues still show a short ad each, so Google AdMob (section 2) still applies to Firewing Pro players.

4. Children

Firewing is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have rights to access, correct and delete personal information, and to object to its use. Because we hold no personal information about you ourselves, most requests about advertising data are best made to Google (see the links above). You can contact us at hello@anchorvita.app with any question, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
